Her work has graced the pages of renowned publications like “A Walk Into Abstracts” and “Splash 17,” establishing her as a luminary in the world of watercolor and mixed media.

Born into a lineage of artists, Cheryl’s destiny as an artist was evident from an early age. Her artistic prowess was nurtured by her family, leading her to scholarships at a local art gallery in Rochester, NY, and an early study program at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she majored in illustration.

Life’s journey took a curving road when Cheryl met Thomas Ervin Fausel in Germany, ultimately leading to a 24-year residence in Stuttgart. There, she served as the “Artist in Residence” for the U.S. Army’s recreation department and later became a master quilter. The adventure continued as Cheryl and Tom sailed across oceans, finally settling in Cape Coral, Florida.

Cheryl’s passion extends beyond her art; she actively contributes to the local Art League, the Alliance for the Arts, and the National League of American Pen Women. Her artistic legacy includes book cover designs and numerous accolades on both national and international stages.
